Terms of Service

draft v0.1 · last updated August 2, 2026 · not yet reviewed by counsel

01Service description

Synx is a storage and licensing marketplace. Creators upload files to Synx and may offer licenses to their data for purchase by AI teams and other buyers.

Payments on the platform are made in $SYNX, a token on the Solana blockchain.

02Accounts & wallets

Accounts are created through Privy, which provisions an embedded Solana wallet on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and the credentials that control it. Synx cannot recover wallets or reverse actions taken from your account.

03Content ownership

Creators retain full ownership of the content they upload.

By uploading, you grant Synx the limited rights needed to host, process, and display previews of your content so the service can function. This grant ends when the content is removed, except where licenses have already been sold.

04Licensing transactions

License purchases settle on-chain in $SYNX, and on-chain transfers are final once confirmed.

Synx facilitates transactions between creators and buyers but is not a party to any license agreement. The terms of each license are between the creator and the buyer.

05Access model

Licensed content is made accessible in-app to the license holder.

Synx does not guarantee downloads of original files; availability depends on the creator's retention settings and the terms of the license.

06Prohibited content & conduct

You may not upload content you do not have the rights to license, content that is illegal, or content that infringes the rights of others.

Attempting to manipulate the marketplace, interfere with the service, or circumvent access controls will result in account termination.

07Fees

Synx charges a platform fee on license sales, deducted at the time of settlement.

The current fee schedule is shown at checkout and may change with notice.

08Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.

Cryptocurrency carries inherent risks, including volatility and irreversible transactions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synx is not liable for losses arising from your use of the service or the $SYNX token.

09Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves.

Material changes will be announced in-app, and continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
